MARRIAGE IS NOT BY FORCE

I have a problem with this qoute by GreenYatra on behalf of psychologist “People don’t necessarily change, they just become who they were supposed to be which comes with growing up grow up”…
Am like, grow up to what? Mehn! Tell me what growing up has to do with developing the right mindset? So a pick pocket doesn’t change, he just grows up from a pick pocket to a thief, and from a thief to an arm robber, and from an arm robber to a terrorist; a carpenter grows up to a coffin maker, then someone in the military can grow up to a dictator and from a dictator to become a civilian president; Hahahaha... I mean that’s growing up because that is who you were supposed to be…That's Nonsense!!!

Paul said when I was a child I acted as a child but when became an adult (grow up) I had to consciously put away (change) childish act. If you say people don’t change what happens when the person grows up and still acts as a child? Growth is not a proof of maturity; even a child can become matured. No wonder this nation since 1963 has not changed, it has just been growing up. Too much growth can turn you to a maloo; atleast your president is an example. "I no call name, there are many presidents in Naija both past, present, and future; even church presidents, group presidents, and fellowship presidents. If you call anybody name and DSS armbush you, na you sabi".

Saying people don’t change is like making them assume the position of the almighty God… You no de fear?!!! God said I am not a man that I should lie, neither a son of man that I should Repent (change). Jesus the same yesterday today and forever; tell me who is still the same way they are since 30 years ago? If Buhari Aka Sai Baba was still the same way he was in 1983 would he need to tell you CHANGE in 2015? Although he did not change, he was growing up from a military dictator to a civilian dictator…

And some of us are like liking and quoting it everywhere, and that is why you have grown from having one girlfriend to having seven girlfriends, from drinking one glass of beer to drinking one crate, from stealing a biro pen in primary school to stealing billions from government, from a local runs girl to Abuja runs babe, from cheating your neigbhour to cheating your boss, from cheating your pastor to robbing God; and Naija has grown from crashing the stock market to putting the economy to recession, from Kano riot to Boko Haram, and from Boko Haram to Fulani herdsmen.

Hear the conclusion of the matter, People change and People grow up. It either you change from Bad to Good and you grow up from good to better and to best, or you change from Good to Bad and grow up from bad to worse. To change for good requires you to change the way you think and to change for bad also requires you to change the way you think, either way has an impact on your character, attitude and personality… “For as he thinks in his heart so is he”… #Period.

Thank God Green Yatra corrected that quote after my comment.
Naija is no longer the same as we were told by our fathers before our independence. It is obvious that the country has change for bad and it is growing rapidly in the direction of it’s change. The so called minorities have been marginalized and now kill through religious violence. We were three people brought into marriage by those who formed the nation; but since our marriage has a lot of infidelity and has also gone tribal and bloody, I advocate that we divorce, Marriage is not by force!

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

WAYS TO LOSE A JOB BEFORE YOU'RE INTERVIEWED

The internet is filled with all the things you have to do to get your job but no one ever talks about all the things you have to not do to get a job. So here are some important “don’ts” of job hunting. Don’t use one method of job hunting: Ok, we get that social media and online applications are the in-thing now but never forget or underestimate the power of plain ol’ physical applications submissions, recruiting agencies and “connect” referrals. Don’t do mass applications with the same CV: No really, do not do that. Don’t apply for every job (you really cannot do “anything”) and if you’re going to apply to a lot of jobs in your field, ensure each application is tailored to the job description and company. Don’t “play yourself”: As noted in point 1, social media is the in-thing right now and it can cost you major opportunities. Do not post anything you don’t want a prospective employer to see. If you do? Congratulations, you just played yourself *in D Khaled’s voice* ...
