THE BEAUTY OF SINGLENESS

To be single is to be whole, outstanding, unique, separate and positively different. To be whole you must discover who you are in the context of God’s word. You must learn the art of instant forgiveness, knowing fully well that hatred hurts the hater more than the hated. And of course you must be driven by the passion of wanting to add value to people’s life.

That you are single now does not mean that you are a sub-standard or incomplete being. Being a single is not a curse neither is it a disease. It is a blessing, a plus not a minus, an addition not a subtraction. It is not weird to be single and it is certainly not an evil thing. It is simply a phase of life that hold undeniable benefits for those who utilize it.

Don’t live your single years wondering if God has forgotten you or whether you are under a curse. Life as you know is in phases and singleness is phase that everyone must of necessity pass through in the journey of life. Every stage or phase in life has its inherent benefit, which should be harnessed and singleness is no exception.

Singleness is a phase of life that you must pass through and the faster you are able to maximise the season and pass the examination of that phase of life, the faster you move on to the next phase of your life. It is very important for you to get your bearings right in life, now that you are still single. So rather than whiling away time, or sitting down bemoaning your situation, wishing, desiring and devising means to get out of singleness, you can productively engage this season to deliver all that it holds for you before it’s over.

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

WAYS TO LOSE A JOB BEFORE YOU'RE INTERVIEWED

The internet is filled with all the things you have to do to get your job but no one ever talks about all the things you have to not do to get a job. So here are some important “don’ts” of job hunting. Don’t use one method of job hunting: Ok, we get that social media and online applications are the in-thing now but never forget or underestimate the power of plain ol’ physical applications submissions, recruiting agencies and “connect” referrals. Don’t do mass applications with the same CV: No really, do not do that. Don’t apply for every job (you really cannot do “anything”) and if you’re going to apply to a lot of jobs in your field, ensure each application is tailored to the job description and company. Don’t “play yourself”: As noted in point 1, social media is the in-thing right now and it can cost you major opportunities. Do not post anything you don’t want a prospective employer to see. If you do? Congratulations, you just played yourself *in D Khaled’s voice* ...
