WHEN YOUR PATIENCE RUNS OUT AND YOU STILL GOT TIME... (Part 2)

She had blocked him out of Whatsapp and imo, deleted his phone number; he on the other hand had (un-friend) her on Facebook, un-followed and deleted her photos on Instagram and Airtipp, he also deleted her photos from his tablet but could not deleted the ones in his laptop; he refused to delete them because he still had hope. He was heartbroken yet he still loves her, he wished that all this was just a joke, even the joy of a miracle that occurred to him on the same day she broke up with him could not overwhelm his broken fragile heart.

Days later he started sneaking in and out of her wall on facebook to see any new post from her and to find out what she is currently doing but could not find anything other than previous posts. He has had sleepless nights, he has tried to forget about her but he couldn’t, he wouldn’t want to call her because hearing her voice in this kind of mood would kill him the more. He thought to himself if he could just go back but on a second thought he wouldn’t because of the sheep (congregation) under his care.

He called his close friend in the neigbhourhood church from where he was moved and he (friend) told him how she has been uncontrollable before their disengagement, how she dresses however she likes, how she comes to church whenever she likes, how she involved herself with a dancing group and later formed her own, how she uninvolved herself from the prayer group she was leading, how she stopped singing and dropped in her choir practices, how she stopped backing up prayers in services. Then he knew she had gone far before she broke up with him but he still had hope that if he could get back he would rescue her from the on-sloth of hedges.

He knew this would not have happened if the brethren in his neigbhourhood church had the love of Christ in them. They had told her that she became born again because she was desperate to get married, they called her a pretender, they called her an agent on assignment, they called her a gossip, and they told her the reason why she ‘backslided’ before was because a brother in the church failed to marry her and now she is back running after the assistant to the coordinator because she wants him to get married to her.

Back in her mother’s church which was orthodox where she attended before she joined her childhood neigbhourhood church she experienced love, she was very celebrated because of her giving life style, everybody loved her enthusiasm and zealousness, the priest in her mother’s church was willing to do anything for her to make sure she is involved in any way she can in church. Although she has not come to know Christ but she had come to experience his love from those who don’t really know him but knows what is moral and humane. She came to her childhood neigbhourhood church hoping to find the same experience of love but the reverse was the case rather she got pierced in the heart.

When he was around he had been her consolation, sometimes she would cry and sometimes she would quarrel because of what she heard them say concerning her, he would always encourage her with the word of God and wipe her tears with his hands, he would pray with her and anoint her face and hands, he would reassure her that he would marry her even if the whole church was against them only if she could trust him because the battle won’t be easy.

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

WAYS TO LOSE A JOB BEFORE YOU'RE INTERVIEWED

The internet is filled with all the things you have to do to get your job but no one ever talks about all the things you have to not do to get a job. So here are some important “don’ts” of job hunting. Don’t use one method of job hunting: Ok, we get that social media and online applications are the in-thing now but never forget or underestimate the power of plain ol’ physical applications submissions, recruiting agencies and “connect” referrals. Don’t do mass applications with the same CV: No really, do not do that. Don’t apply for every job (you really cannot do “anything”) and if you’re going to apply to a lot of jobs in your field, ensure each application is tailored to the job description and company. Don’t “play yourself”: As noted in point 1, social media is the in-thing right now and it can cost you major opportunities. Do not post anything you don’t want a prospective employer to see. If you do? Congratulations, you just played yourself *in D Khaled’s voice* ...
