THE ANGRY FOLLOWER WRITES.....

Based on experience under a dumb leadership; to all Leaders in every sector.

Leadership is all about influence and not manipulating people. A leader should influence people to doing the right thing and not manipulating people for their own selfish gratification.

Leadership is not about forcing your will on people, it’s about allowing your followers to make their choices while you guide them out of wrong choices and guide them through right choices.

A leader who cannot trust those working with him/her over the years, those who have stood the test of time and have had opportunities to leave but still choose to stay is an unfortunate leader and will soon loose his/her followers.

A leader that listens to gossip as the bane of information will soon elope like rumours.

A leader who is not honest will loose trust from his followers. No matter your good intention for your followers, if you don’t communicate it to them you are perceived as a bad leader.

Those who have followed you for more than 10yrs and their lives are not getting better neither is their future assured shows your selfishness in leadership.

No matter how good you are, when your followers can’t see where they are going through you, they would leave; when they perceive that you cannot take them to where they want to be in life, they will find excuses to leave you even if they are your husband, wife, children or close friends.

A leader without a well structured administration can be equalled to a lunatic in power.

A leader that fails to develop his capacity will remain incapacitated with little or no followers. The number of your followers per time is a proof of your capacity per time.

A leader who loves his comfort zone will also die in his comfort zone.

A leader who is not knowledgeable enough will look like a mockery.

A leader that knows it all will die in a fool’s paradise.

Any leadership that cannot inspire their followers will soon expire.

Any leader who is not investing in the future has no future.

Any leader without a succession plan will go to the grave with his/her organization.

Any leader without a mentor will always lack methods.

Any leader that is against the youth will loose its strength; leaders that are far from the youths are far from the future; leaders that don’t invest in the youths will have rebellion to contend with.

A leader must understand that those serving you have a life; they have their vision and purpose on earth and you must not become a stumbling block to them actualizing their dreams and purposes in the name of loving them. A leader must understand when his/her love for a particular follower is becoming a barrier for that follower to actualize his/her dreams in life.

Leaders that always holds people around them without giving them flexibility or letting them go far in search of better opportunities because of their love for them, or the office they occupy, or a need their skills brings the immediate solution to would never see them grow beyond the level they are. A leader must understand that it is not everyone that is meant to stay around them, some have to fly elsewhere but with their feathers. A leader should not manipulate or threaten people with fear to keep them around them.

A leader with an unforgiving spirit gradually sinks the organization that he/she is leading into the grave.

A leader must be open to the point that his/her trusted follower can tell them the truth about themselves. Any leader that fights those who tells them the truth will soon be like some who has removed his entire tooth because of toothache.

When people are constantly leaving you or your organization with a bad notion, it goes a long way to describe your leadership failures. When everyone that leaves you or your organization is always at fault in your judgment, then you have to sit down to find out if it is them or actually you that is the fault.

When you lack proofs as a leader you get proofs as a liar.

Leaders that task (put financial pressure on) their followers always will have a congregation of complainers.

Leaders flying their followers without a geographical direction from the control tower (a written down vision) will crash its followers in the lagoon. If your followers don’t know your vision or don’t have it in hard copies or taught to them, you are not yet leading but misleading.

A lot of leaders have kept many followers in bondage due to some of these errors citied above, and these followers for fear of rebellion have remained patient waiting for a change that seems like it’s not going to come. 2016 may have not been my best of year because of these leadership vices over followers but then my advice is that every follower must know that he is a leader in the making and must be patient with leadership and not to rebel. Leaders must not take the patience of followers for granted otherwise you may be left alone like the picture below.

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

WAYS TO LOSE A JOB BEFORE YOU'RE INTERVIEWED

The internet is filled with all the things you have to do to get your job but no one ever talks about all the things you have to not do to get a job. So here are some important “don’ts” of job hunting. Don’t use one method of job hunting: Ok, we get that social media and online applications are the in-thing now but never forget or underestimate the power of plain ol’ physical applications submissions, recruiting agencies and “connect” referrals. Don’t do mass applications with the same CV: No really, do not do that. Don’t apply for every job (you really cannot do “anything”) and if you’re going to apply to a lot of jobs in your field, ensure each application is tailored to the job description and company. Don’t “play yourself”: As noted in point 1, social media is the in-thing right now and it can cost you major opportunities. Do not post anything you don’t want a prospective employer to see. If you do? Congratulations, you just played yourself *in D Khaled’s voice* ...
