In Honour of my father and General Overseer "The City Of Power HGMBC Worldwide" |
Shalom to all Christians
in the world more especially to our brothers and sisters in the Middle East
under constant threat from Isis, those in East Africa living under the fear of
El Shabbat and those in Northern Nigeria whose life are seriously under attack by
Boko Haram because of their Faith. We have witness a season when we have been
martyred than any season since Christianity came into existence. A lot of
statistical data have been reached to give an account of how many of our
brothers and sisters have been martyred all over the world and their findings
have shown an outrageous number of over a 100,000 of us are martyred each year
in the last four years.
We as a church must
understand that these are the dark times as Jesus told us in matt 24:9 “Then
shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name’s sake”. Boko Haram, Isis, El Shabbat and a host
of other Islamic terrorist groups persecuting the body of Christ are all in the
prophecy, but we have to be strong not to allow our love to fail us and become
offended in God.
It is not God’s intent
that some of us become victims of these prophecies but the Word of God cannot
be broken, these kinds of prophecies cannot be averted from happening but we
can only pray that God avenges us speedily and shorten the days of its
occurrence.
We must begin to
understand that the government cannot help us, the military cannot help us,
religious bodies and Christian organisations cannot help us, neither can
America defend us, our hope and defence is in God as the Psalmist said in
Psa.121 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help;
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
This Christmas season I
urge every Christian in the entire world to come together in prayers for the
body of Christ especially Christians in the comfort zone where there are no
terrors or persecutions against their faith. It would be wrong for us to be
celebrating this christmas season without a sober reflection on the sacrifices of
our brothers and sisters who have ran the race, kept and defended the faith,
those who have lost their lives through the wicked onslaught of beheading,
burning, hanging on the cross, butchered, and trampled on by war tanks by Isis and
El Shabbat and those who have died of bomb attacks in Nigeria.
The church must rise to
pray for some of them imprisoned by these terrorist to be freed after the order
of Paul and Silas, and also Peter; we must rise to stand against the gates of
Hell lifted up against the church using Islam, we must curse the root and the
supply lines of Isis, El Shabbat, and Boko Haram, let us be sober and vigilant
this season because the devil like a roaring lion is seeking to devour the
church of Christ also bearing in mind that in festive periods like this many
have been beheaded after the order of John the Baptist.
Let us send gifts of
love (foods, clothes, drugs, money etc.) to our brothers and sisters in refugee
camps and destitute homes who have been displaced by these terrorists, let us
pray that the Holy Spirit comfort all them who have lost their loved ones in
defence of their faith.
I pray that God arises
speedily and let all his enemies be scattered; let them that hate him flee
before him, as smoke is driven away, so he will drive them away, as wax melts
before the fire so let them (Isis, El Shabbat, Boko Haram, Jihad, El Qeda etc)
perish at the presence of God; But we the righteous shall be glad and sing
praises to his name rejoicing exceedingly.
Merry Xmas and a Prosperous New Year to all
Christians in the entire world. Shalom.
Pst. O'beta
