DECISION FOR 2017

When a man wants to get married the first thing he does is to find a woman of his choice from so many women out there, secondly he starts a relationship which gives him time to thinking and understand the woman he wants to marry, thirdly he convinces himself that this is who he wants to spend the rest of his life with, fourthly he proposes to her and then lastly if she accepts they get married. Let’s say after two years of marriage he discovers that this woman has been married four times to four different men and had one child in each of those marriages; the four previous husbands were very rich and she had divorced all four of them with her children in her custody and has half of each previous husband wealth by court order. Now he is the fifth husband and he is also very wealthy, she has one child for him and she is about to get a divorce. Whose fault is it, the man or the woman? Probably the man, because he made a decision (choice) but a wrong one; this how our decisions in life affects us and generations unborn.
The recession we are faced with in this Nation is as a result of the decision of many who sold their birth right for a morsel of APC’s bread during 2015 elections in Nigeria. I get mad when people are abusing the government because they did not force themselves on you, they gave you a platform to choose between Change and Transformation and you chose change, but you forgot to ask what kind of change, change for better or change to worse? 2016 has been difficult for a lot these people who made their choice for change and that made a lot of them to become victims of a Ponzi scheme.
I don’t blame the government for been dumb and not knowing what to do, I don’t blame them for appointing incompetent people into ministerial positions, I don’t blame them for making weak policies, I don’t blame them for not having an agenda, I don’t blame them for making unrealistic promises, I don’t blame them for blaming the opposition party for their failures, I blame you that voted them in, you that made a choice through your vote after you have been bought over with a pack of noodles, recharge cards, nylon of garri, nylon of rice, fried chicken, wrapper, tin tomatoes, sardines, T-shirt, face caps, souvenirs of different kinds, you that jumped to the streets shouting ‘Sai Baba’ even without ‘Sai Baba’ having a knowledge of  who you are because of your long throat, and I blame you who is Christian that sold your birth right for tribalism during the election. Don’t get me wrong, am not partisan, am neither APC nor PDP, am me and am telling you the truth which you have refused to tell yourself.

You Must Understand
Wherever you find yourself in life is traceable to the choices or the decisions you made.

You are responsible for your choices in life, nobody is to blame, whether they forced you into making that decision, or they pushed you to do it, whether the economy pushed you into a ponzi scheme and now you lost all your money, you are responsible for you.

God gave us the power of choice, to choose between good and evil, life and death, blessings and curses (Deut 30:19), whatever you choose is your lot.

God is the only person that can teach you how to choose or make a right decision if you fear him (Psa. 25:12).
2017 Opportunity to Re-decide
Decision is a choice that you make about something after thinking about it. The year has few hours to expire and a new one is by the corner with lots of challenges and blessings, our choices determines what the year will look like for us, our choices will determine what gives us excellence next year.

Reflect on all the choices you made this year, the good ones and the wrong ones; improve the good ones, turn from the wrong ones like the prodigal son, decide to consult God for every step you will take in the incoming year and watch yourself soar high when other are crying they are cast down by recession.

Happy New Year.

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

WAYS TO LOSE A JOB BEFORE YOU'RE INTERVIEWED

The internet is filled with all the things you have to do to get your job but no one ever talks about all the things you have to not do to get a job. So here are some important “don’ts” of job hunting. Don’t use one method of job hunting: Ok, we get that social media and online applications are the in-thing now but never forget or underestimate the power of plain ol’ physical applications submissions, recruiting agencies and “connect” referrals. Don’t do mass applications with the same CV: No really, do not do that. Don’t apply for every job (you really cannot do “anything”) and if you’re going to apply to a lot of jobs in your field, ensure each application is tailored to the job description and company. Don’t “play yourself”: As noted in point 1, social media is the in-thing right now and it can cost you major opportunities. Do not post anything you don’t want a prospective employer to see. If you do? Congratulations, you just played yourself *in D Khaled’s voice* ...
