For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. The reason for Christmas is to celebrate the love God showed us, a love we did not deserve; while we were yet in our sins Christ came and he died for us.

This same he commanded us through his Word in 1John 4:7-8 “Beloved let us love one another, for love is of God and everyone that loveth is born and knoweth God, he that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love”.

The christain life is a life of love; Christmas is all about love, this is the period to reach out the love of Christ to world, it's a time to minister to the needs of many, it's a time of giving, it's a time to preach Jesus to the dying sinner, it's a time to forgive every wrong and every hurt, it's a time to heal every wound and pain, it's a time to unite and put away our difference because God command us to do so.

Let us not be selfish in our dealings, let Christmas become a moment of sober reflection reflecting on why Christ came to world, let us reflect on his sufferings for the sake of our redemption, let us reflect on the price he paid for us.

May God's Spirit fill our hearts, may his love over shadow us, may his peace that passes all understanding dwell in our hearts as we celebrate the birth of his begotten son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2017

Obama currently finds himself in the middle of aheated standoffwith the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workableplan to close GuantanamoBay, one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the facts beyond the opinions deserve to be examined. Obama has racked up notable historical accomplishment…

Some people dream of success... while others wake up and work hard at it. Last year may have been one of the toughest years in this nation, a lot of people lost their means of lively hood, some lost their well paid jobs, some were demoted and salaries cut short, some business lost so much money on investments due to high exchange rates, some business were caught in fire incidents, some people were duped by individuals and ponzi schemes who were leveraging on the economic recession in the nation. All these are not reasons enough to give up and not try in 2017. I have never seen a man who has not failed at one point in time in life. To fail is good but to remain there is failure. Winston Churchill said something that struck me “Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm”, this means that even if I lost my job last year, my business was caught in the fire, I lost money to a ponzi scheme, I lost money on international investments due to high exchange rates, I ref…
