CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM REV KHOBYS

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. The reason for Christmas is to celebrate the love God showed us, a love we did not deserve; while we were yet in our sins Christ came and he died for us.

This same he commanded us through his Word in 1John 4:7-8 “Beloved let us love one another, for love is of God and everyone that loveth is born and knoweth God, he that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love”.

The christain life is a life of love; Christmas is all about love, this is the period to reach out the love of Christ to world, it's a time to minister to the needs of many, it's a time of giving, it's a time to preach Jesus to the dying sinner, it's a time to forgive every wrong and every hurt, it's a time to heal every wound and pain, it's a time to unite and put away our difference because God command us to do so.

Let us not be selfish in our dealings, let Christmas become a moment of sober reflection reflecting on why Christ came to world, let us reflect on his sufferings for the sake of our redemption, let us reflect on the price he paid for us.

May God's Spirit fill our hearts, may his love over shadow us, may his peace that passes all understanding dwell in our hearts as we celebrate the birth of his begotten son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2017

Rev & Mrs. Isy B. O. Khobys

25 FACTS ABOUT OBAMA

By   KelseyWarner   on March 4, 2016 Inside Gov As the final remaining year of the Obama administration is well underway, the legacy that President   Barack Obama   will forge in history remains hotly contested.   Conservatives argue   Obama is the “worst president ever” while   liberals have claimed   he has “done more good for this country than any president before him.” He likely will not play the role of a “lame-duck” president, as the administration has yet to slow down. Obama currently finds himself in the middle of a   heated standoff   with the Republican-led Senate to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. He still pursues a workable   plan to close GuantanamoBay , one of his 2008 campaign promises. As his term nears its end, the passionate, vocal opinions on both sides of the political aisle may reach their crescendo as his legacy becomes ripe for interpretation. When reflecting on Obama’s time in the White House, the f...

7 FACTS ABOUT PRIDE

I want to talk about the issue of pride as regards to us as individuals. Pride is something we exhibit in our day to day lives, but nobody would agree that he or she is proud. But I would want us to know that at certain times in our lives we have shown pride.  Pride goes in two ways, you may either attribute it as a mark of honour to someone you love or yourself. For example "When a husband is proud of his wife, or a father is proud of his son who graduated with a first class honours" and many other examples I can cite. People can also be proud of themselves to boost their self confidence. For example: someone can be proud of been single, or someone can be proud of been fat just to knock off negative views and opinions of people towards those that are fat. The other way is when the person is full of himself/herself, super imposes, boozy, dominarian, arrogant, boostful. rebellious, egocentric and full of self justification. This is where the problem lies about p...

The business world should take sometime and study the church organization and try to implement its findings into its operation. Every thriving church today thrives not only because of its spiritual principles but also because of its application of business principles in managing the church as an organization. It might interest you to know that the church is 90% administration and 10% spiritual. The church is the wealthiest organization on earth and its uncontestable. But beyond its spiritual ties and beliefs in the divine, one needs to begin to looking into how they are able to maintain growth over the decades, fund mind blowing projects, with people trooping into the churches on daily basis. I think the church has the most unique marketing strategy of all times and its best if organizations begin to take a look into it. Having worked with a religious organization for over a decade, I have come to understand the reason why the church attracts so much people to invest willin...
